- Environment Agency – important flood data from the government approved source
- British Geological Survey (BGS) – a property does not need to be by a river or the sea to be flooded. This beneficial data identifies where groundwater flooding can occur. BGS also identify geological deposits associated with flooding to show where possible future flooding could occur
- Norwich Union/Aviva – one of Britain’s leading insurers will indicate the likelihood that they would insure the property
The report also provides exclusive data on surface water run-off, which was reported to have caused over 50% of the damage caused in the flooding of summer 2007 and gives an easy to use, at-a-glance assessment showing whether any issues are present.
